The lab decided to tie-dye our tissue culture lab coats, while enjoying tea and crepes (very civilized!)

ASV 2024
Allyson, Hannah D and Hannah K all made it to ASV 2024 in Cleveland where Hannah D presented a poster on influenza filaments and Hannah K gave a great talk on SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid oligomerization.

Despite the best efforts of the Groome Transportation shuttles we made it to Athens, and Hannah Despres, Hannah Kubinski and Madaline Schmidt all presented posters.

New Space!
We moved into a new space in Stafford 322.
Burton Island Lab Retreat
The inaugural Bruce Lab retreat was held on Burton Island and sponsored by Chacos* and Prohibition Pig cider*. Only one kayak paddle was lost during the process and cycling injuries were 0/0 but 20/20 near misses.*Not actually sponsored, but open to future opportunities!
